HONG KONG VISA EXTENSIONS
I've contacted a few travel agencies in Hong Kong, including the JTA, Shoestring & FBT.
All of them confirmed that there's no more 6-month visa (type: F) in Hong Kong, now you can only get a 3-month visa (continuous stay of 3 months), or 6-month visa

You can use a visa agent in your home country to obtain the visa there. (involves mailing yuour passport abroad) Then just make a visit to Hong Kong to get the new entry stamp in your passport and you are all set.

You can get it, but you need an invitation document from a school or company willing to sponsor you.
