Posts 133 		China Visa Extension

Hello fellow ESLrs, I finished my contract with my school but I want to stay in China for a little while longer. (about 60 days) My resident permit is valid until the end of December. Is there a place where I can go that will be able to issue me a new visa or visa extension? What will i need? I am currently living in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. -Thanks!

Posts 90 		Locate the public security bureau in Hangzhou. They will usually grant an extension for up to 30-60 days for the first time. You only get once extension in-country though. After your extension expires, you will have to either go to hong kong and apply for a new visa or leave the country.
