Africans Forced to Leave China on New Visa Rules

May 11 (Bloomberg) -- Africans living in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou are being forced to leave the country because of new visa policies, the South China Morning Post reported, citing an unidentified spokesman for the community.
Nearly half of the 10,000 Africans in the city have already been forced to leave because their visa-renewal applications have been denied and at least 100 people are stranded in Macau without enough money to return home, the newspaper reported.
African nationals in the city have been running small businesses on flexible, six-month ``F'' visas and are now being given only tourist visas of up to 15 days, the Morning Post said.
The General Committee of African People in Guangzhou has sent a letter to 10 African embassies in Beijing asking them to press the Chinese government on the issue, the newspaper added.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry in Beijing said May 7 that visa checks have been tightened ahead of the Olympic Games to ensure ``greater security.''

This is very good news!
The article doesn't paint the whole picture, but it does offer a glimpse. First of all, running a business (i.e. working) on an F visa is illegal. However, this is but the tip of the iceberg. The vast majority of Africans in Guangzhou are felons. Yes, felons.
A stroll anywhere within a 2 mile radius of the Garden Hotel area will get you at least two dozen offers from the more than fifty Africans hanging out selling drugs. Also, in that same area which encompasses Xiao Bei Lu (aka Little Africa), there have been several murders that the authorities are sure were committed by Africans as well as numerous rape cases at several area universities where Africans congregate under the guise of studying Chinese.
Within the past three years, I have been personally approached -- far away from Little Africa -- by at least twenty different African 419 Fraud morons. Were I to hang out more in the Garden Hotel area, I'm sure we could at least quadruple that amount. 100% of the African 419 fraud scammers I met identified themselves with counterfeit passports and, according to PSB acquaintances, it is very common for many Africans they encounter to use counterfeit or forged passports ... and visas.
Nobody can say that 100% of the Africans in Guangzhou are thugs, thieves and scum, but a large percentage of them are. While weeding out the good from the bad is not too difficult, it does require PSB resources and actually means that the Guangzhou PSB has to work -- something they seem to have a strong aversion to.
My question is WTF the Public Security Bureau has waited so long.

l want to thank all of you defaming and dehumanising the African population in such a cruel way.
However,l think it is so stupid and ignorant to describe Africans as ''These people aren't scum, they are fecal matter. The dirt of the earth with no redeeming value.''
If you dont know your histroy or something about religion,go back to be tutored.l strongly believe that most of the violence and drug deal are mostly nationals from other continents and Asia herself than Africans.l see no reason why Africans are just looked down upon, no matter what ever the case.Africa is a continent of itself and had been the source of development in many european countries including America.When europeans chased Africans in their homeland to steal away lots of their valuable resources to fatten themselves.Have you forgotten your history? These issues beign raised now is not something new.When Africans were not here,there were thieves and all sorts .This is to remind you that in every continent ,there are crimes.
Many Chinese,[Asians] Americans and europeans also live and work in Africa of which they are at peace with their normal businesses.But in china ,the story is different and the register is always on Names of African countries.This mindset that Africa is poor is a high time to be deleted in mind.No continent on Earth now is considered poor and for that matter talking about Africans.Which AFRICAN COUNTRY HAVE YOU EVER VISITED? ,if not alone watching television news on the very little war-torn arreas of the continent.Ask your people there in Africa or be there yourself and know what civilisation is all about. Let me correct you if incase you are so naive.Africans here are scanvengers .Many are here for their business as any other nationals from other countries will do.But because they are always descriminated against in terms of work visas and the rest as if they are not also people.If you are saying they come to china because they are poor then you are lost because even the world super power and rich countries are even here more than Africans working for very low government salaries.
Why listed some 33 countries mostly African impossible to be issued visa in Hongkong nor nearby countries to China but the favoured countries unlisted?
l will therefore conclude that it will be so stupid and naive on the part of any one to bluntly insult Africans or descriminate against them, for in any country in Africa,Foreigners from all other continents are found living and working there without any maltreatment because they are living with people with brains.Give equal oportunities to qualified Africans who are here for self business or other available job opportunities in terms of work visas and compare them to your favourites to confirm who is best.On this note ,l will say Africans are never FELONS and never act felonious.

While Determination raises some valid issues -- and many more which are irrelevant -- the fact remains that almost every government in the world restricts migratory movement of people from many African countries. And with a perfectly good reason.
First of all, it is not discrimination to screen out criminals, felons and other people who have the proven potential to victimize a population. Many people, especially from Nigeria, fall into this category. Conservative estimates from international organizations -- not to mention Nigeria's own government -- put 1/3 of Nigeria's GDP as originating from the Nigerian 419 Fraud epidemic -- itself a felony both in Nigeria and abroad. It is also a fact that many Nigerians in China are running their fraud from within China. Is that what Determination means by "They have lots to offer and with brains"? What a laugh!
It is also a simple fact that the most obvious drug dealers in Beijing or Guangzhou are Africans. Again, anybody in south China can take a stroll around Guangzhou's Garden Hotel. There are literally dozens of African drug dealers openly practicing their trade in the blocks surrounding the Garden Hotel. If this is not a felony, than Determination has severe mental issues.
I have visited several African countries and most of them are poor and stuck in chaos. From personal experience, Nigeria and Zimbabwe are a joke. Ghana is also. Sudan is much more than a joke. To be fair, there are some countries in Africa that are rather nice and decent places to live. Morocco comes to mind as does South Africa and Kenya.
I seriously doubt that the Chinese government boots out Africans without reason. If they have the proper visa (which the vast majority do not) and are not felons (which many are), they'd still be here.
So, nice try Determination. Have you any other drivel to add to your current comments?

Hi Joe C, l wonder from which country you come from.However,l want you to know that ,you are deviating from your explanation of the fact that Africans are not being descriminated against with regards to the following statements you made on your 7th post.

The question is why only Africans? Do you mean all criminals and drug peddlers are from Africa ? Since you have studied enough,Tell me the most violent country in the world and her continent of location.Which part of the world did drug peddling start?
Oh ,you mentioned Sudan an African country to be more than a joke.Did you ever think of a country named SRY-LANKA? that one is more than rubbish but you never mentioned that.Did you think that was also an African country?You mentioned Ghana and Nigeria as jokes, Infact you never went there at all because Even America and Britain have respect for those African countries just because there are also poor states in US and also Europe. Ghana in terms of education ,economy, social development and self descipline is perfectly second to none.You can't compare philippines,india,nepal,vietnam ,thailand just to mention but few to many African countries such as cote'd'ivore, Ghana, Nigeria ,Gabon ,Egypt. etc. South -Africa shows shoulders with countries such as Austrialia,Austria, Japan ,South korea who china is chasing now.

Let me tell you now, There are many high quality Africans abroad and at home countries which many of you could never be compared to .Let us always not be so defensive as long as world peace is being sought for but rather be truthful and eliminate descrimination and self satifaction for none of the continents in the world will ever exist without the other.

l emphatically said ''Africans are with brains ''just to let you and co. know that, there is no way an African authority in her endeavour to screen out criminals, felons and other people who have the proven potential to victimize a population will ever tend to continental vitimization but will rather identify the nationality of those individuals and hence any action.For this ,l can perfectly say ''DETERMINATION HAS NEVER ANY MENTAL ISSUE but the opponent has.
l thank you very much for your time to learm much from me and hope you can make the best out of it.If you need any advise and also to know really who an African is, as well as what Africa is, l will be always available to respond to your quest so that the majority who are yet to be educated as far as this issue is concerned will have a fair share.

The High Court in South Africa has ruled that Chinese South Africans are to be reclassified as black people.
It made the order so that ethnic Chinese can benefit from government policies aimed at ending white domination in the private sector.
The Chinese Association of South Africa took the government to court, saying its members had been discriminated against.
An estimated 200,000 ethnic Chinese live in South Africa.
The association said their members often failed to qualify for business contracts and job promotions because they were regarded as whites.

Let reclassify brown bears as polar bears and manipulate the statistics to bring the polar bear out of the endangered classification so we can drill for oil..
