I have aZ-visa ,expiry date August 21,2008. I'm planning to have my vacation on July 2 and come back to China on August 15th, to the same employer/school, I've signed a new contract and my school will work on my Visa when I' back. Is this feasible?. I'm just a little afraid I might encounter hassles on my way back because of my EXPIRING VISA (just 6 days valid) . I need advice. thanks.

If you have a z visa, then you only have one entry unless you have already underwent residence formalites. So - if you haven't and you leave the country.. You better have some new invitation documents. Normally z visa only lasts for 30 days, entries 000. YOu have to undergoe residence formailities, the consulate even puts a sticker in your passport to remind you when you get the visa.
So, do you have a residence permit, or a visa?

hello..thanks for taking time..
I have a Foreign Experts Certificate and a visa stamped to my passport...issued on aug.24,2007 expiry date aug.21,2008. My visa was issued here in China. I wonder if the Foreign Expert Certificate is the same as the residence permit that you've stated. Please enlighten me. Thanks
