...We have had no end of problems with that school. The so called owner of the school, Mr (no holes barred) Evander and his side kicks have mafia connections and believe me, if you have hassles with them and you create disharmony in an already screwed up environment then watch out. I had a friend of mine who unwittingly mentioned to the 'manager' what he thought of Evander (it was out of the school and he wasnt working for them). She came back with two thugs and beat the stuffing out of him.He also had a carload of thugs that waited for him outside a bar, but was luckily warned. This was about a year ago and I can assure you that things havent changed . You just dont know what youre in for sometimes until the proverbial hits the fan, then its too late. Take my advice...get your own apartment and work without contract as a gun for hire. That way you'll get hourly pay and you can flick off the ones that give too much grief!
..I highly discourage anyone from working at New Century in Dalian. The owner, Evander, does not negotiate...it's his way or the highway. When both the president and vice-president quit within 2 months of each other...it should say something to him but unfortunately he is so wrapped up in his own little, closed mind...
...He has changed the contract 3 times basically forcing the teachers to sign it although it isn't worth the paper its written on because he'll do what he wants anyway. He has cheated the teachers out of pay ..
