Just to help us prepare everything, What are PSB residence formalities in shenzhen?
These I know:
1. New health check (even though the Chinese embassy in our country had us do one just a week before we arrived.)
2. SAFEA letter
3. Passport & extra photo's.
What else should we prepare or what other formalities?

Residence Permits in China:
1. Expect your passport to be taken for no more than four or five days.
2. Expect a sonogram, and comprehensive blood work.
3. Expect the school to handle and PAY FOR all of this.
The reason you do TWO Medicals, is because there are a number of folks who (believe it or not) are not completely honest about their medical condition and attempt to enter China with a disease Heart or Blood or Other. Two exams preclude unhealthy individuals or others who may have lied or forged their initial examination. Forgeries are extreemely common and this is why the consulates now require original medical examination forms.

Thanks for the reply, wow seems like a simpler process.
I thought PSB needed tons of documents like the Chinese embassy did??

Bad news, We new teachers did have to pay for the Health Check "880 RMB"... It was shocking. But we're here now, so no choice, we paid.
