I need to change my tourist visa into a work visa. Im going to Hong Kong to do it. But im not sure where the office is for it. Does anyone know where it is, possible directions, and how long it usually takes to obtain the visa?

You need to make sure that your invitation documents specify HONG KONG as the location where to get your visa, otherwise, you will be rejected and then you will either be required to return to the USA to process your visa, or have a visa company like ours get it for you. Below is the link to a map of the location of the immigration office in Hong Kong for entry to China. Get there early!

yes.. I heard about this new Visa regulation too. I have been told that all new Work Visa applications must be requested in person within your home country. Best to check this out..

Hi, there. It is posible to get the working visa from Hong Kong without any problem or complication the only requirement is that youtr comfirmation letter should specify Hong Kong and that's all. In Hong Kong the visa is proccessed at the Commisioner's Office of China's Foreign Ministry located at 26 Harbour Road, Wanchai in the China Resources Building on the ground floor. Be early because it is ussually crowded. Also it takes five days for the normal proccess but you can get in one or two days depending on speci al services and extra fees. But I willl advice you to be well prepared with enough money and all necesary documents. Ok hope I help.
